Hello fellow people a sunny day is the best weather for me.But what
about the kite well the kite needs a sunny bright day with a breeze.A
kite needs that kind of weather because the wind blows the kite in the
air.If its a thunderstorm and you are holding the kite from the reel
then the thunder can hit the kite and electric-ed.If its raining the
kite would not even fly its only going to make the kite wet and
heaver.

Melanie weather

Hello people out there! Melanie and her team mates are talking about weather conditions when flying a kite.Melanie said that,"the weather condition has to be windy and sunny."It can't be rainy because you can get electric I know this because when it was raining Ben Franklin got electric with lightning.She also said that the weather condition is windy and sunny will work because the wind will hold it up I know this because this kid was flying a kite when it was only sunny.Well that's it for today tune in next week!

Hello welcome back!Today this week we will be talking about Melanie and her Team mates learning the mathematics behind the kite.So Melanie said that the altitude of the kite is between 60 and 70 altitude.Another question is the area of the kite is a kite that has two pairs of adjacent sides equal and one pair of opposite angles equal.the measurement of a kite is 29cm 11 and 1\2 and 14.5cmx 8.7cm.Well that's it for today see you next week!

Hello my peeps meaning people for short.Welcome back to GOSSIP it makes me so excited to be talking about Melanie.Miss Melanie and her team are talking about the physics behind the flying kite.What they are learning about is that how does the kite lift up with no gravity.According to Melanie the kite flies with out gravity is that you need to go somewhere that is very windy.Another question is that how doesn't it get drag in the floor?Well Miss Melanie said that the wind makes it not get drag.Well bye everybody see you later.

Hola people back to the gossip!Melanie and her team mates are researching different styles of kites.Like for example i'm going to list the fancy kites that Melanie said she is going to research the fancy kites are flat,bowed,cellular,multi-line,fighters & flexible,figure,stacks and train.What flat kite means is The flat kites are the most common kites in the world; some bars build a geometric area overdrawn by fabric or paper, which builds the name giving flat form.
They fly in stable, therefore they need a stabilizing tail or something similar. A second one is called bowed kite it says The bowed or angled kites are using the same principle for stabilization like the gliders.
The bowed kites have the outer ends slightly curved to the back, the angled kites have the two sides building a slight angle in the center.
Their flight is stable and calm. The third kite is cellular kite it says Cellular kites are a three-dimensional style of kites that include a wide variety of box kites, snowflakes and stars. Well listen up ladies and gentle man that's it for this week.Tune in next week!

 Nice to see you folks again today Jordan is going learn the parts of a kite.The words are Brindle ,keel,fitting,wood spars and tails are to define.Brindle mean a brownish color of animal fur, fitting means on or attached on an object.Keel means  a structure along a center line at the bottom of a vessel as a blade to increase stability.Well that it for today see you next time on how to build kites bye.

Today we are going to be talking about Melanie and her team looking at a diagram to understand the parts of the kites.It looks like Melanie said that there is hard vocabulary.So she is going to research the words brindle,fittings,keel,line,sail,spars,tail,tow points,spreader,and spine.The first word is brindle it means a brownish  or tawny color of animal fur,another word is fittings it means a small part on or  attached  to a piece of furniture or equipment.Keel means the longitudinal structure along the center line at the bottom of a vessel extended downward as a  blade or ridge to increase stability.Well that's it for this week see you next week for more blog posting!

Hey! Well today where going to talk about the design of the kite that
me and my group are going to do.Yeah so the kind of kite is a box kite
which simply a box.I love boxes there so cool I especially love the 3D
boxes.This kite is going take hard work to make this kite i will need
a whole bunch of materials.The materials that are group is going to
use is paper,glue,garbage bag,dowels,and scissors.This box kite has to
be in a great structure so it would be able to fly.The kites in the
past where in different shapes and did not have much color but now
there is all kind of shapes and color

THE HISTORY OF KITES!! BY DESTINY

Today I’m going to give you a little sneak peek about the history of kites!!!!

Long long ago they used to have only diamond kites. They were a very popular kite like they are today.

Also the popularity of  kite flying moved from place to place.  They moved from China to japan and then to Korea. They were also used as magical figures or “talismans."

I would have never knew kites were in exist because people in the century time use to fly kites all thetime. Now people today hardly fly kites maybe they fly it once in a while with family.

According to the article it says that” Around the 13^th century stories of kites reached the Europe. The period show dragon or pennant-shaped based on non-flying three dimensional roman military banners.”

Melanie is learning the history of kites.She is reading the history of kites so she can understand about who created it.Melanie said that it was the most awesome book she ever read because she loves the way it started.Her favorite part was when it shows her a picture of a woman with a kite  that she received a letter from her love.

Another thing i loved of the articles was that the military used a kite for one of the war i know this because in the title it says military kites makes me think why would the title be like that what does it mean.A second article is that it's a picture of Benjamin  Franklin and he is holding a kite and he is getting shocked with lightning cause that's how electricity started.

charle's goals

Hello, there are teachers that tell you to set your goals and didn't bother you like OMG I don't want to set these goals it so boring.Well today where going to talk about the goals i'm going to set.The goals that i'm going to do is working as a group which means to listen to our group members.Also to plan things as a group.

So my group decided to pick our jobs but before we did we all made a plan.

Our plan was for each person to do their job and we made sure each person like there job and we will help but each person got to there part.

Which guys might of heard millions of times from Ms. Grate she tell guys set ur goals they will help you even in the beginning of the year we had to make a bucket list.

Yea! Yea! Nobody really listened we just pretended so she can be quit.

 But then one day she tested us to see if we really listened to her and she said pulled each of us to the side and said what your goal is for this year.

Even though it’s the end of the school year she still asks us.

The reason I picked to do a dream kite because I believe that my group can do it and also my team have the ability to come up with something abstract not original that will make person surprised.

When I mean abstract don’t think I mean just colors no I mean something out of this world.

Hold up!  Hold up!  don’t think I mean a dream catching kite no!! I mean something that just pops not firework pop imagination pop.

But one day my kite is going to be on the news for example Breaking news Ms.126 had a kite flying competition this group of  kids made their own kites off a book they read  destiny group came out the best that it won every single completion.

The theme that we choose as a group was dreams.Our group picked dreams because anyone can have a dream.If the dream is on the kite its going to inspired to follow there dreams.We pick dreams as a group because we thought it is going to look awesome.Also we hoped the kite we make is going to inspired to you.

Melanie's Themes

Hey,hey people time to get back to the gossip about Melanie.

 Now, this week we are going to be talking about Melanie's new theme for her kite. Melanie decided that her theme is going to be about dreams. Now I know some of you guys may be thinking why dreams?

 But, she picked dreams because she likes to sleep a lot, she sleeps like 8 hrs a day, and Melanie likes to dream about things that she wants to happen.

 Melanie also picked the theme because she loves the night sky. She thinks the stars are mesmerizing and beautiful. 

When she was around nine years old Melanie liked to go outside and bring a blanket and lay out to see the stars. When she would see the stars she would always make a wish. 

Her wish was to succeed in everything and make as little mistakes in life to make her parents proud of her so they knew that she is an excellent daughter. Well there is enough of gossip for now so tune in next time for more juicy gossip about Melanie and her kite making decisions.

Hello welcome to day 10 of kite building  with Jordan and his team today are  going to discuss about the material they need to build a  kite.We decided that each of us should get material like wood,plastic bags of trash and other stuff, but first we have to figure out what kite their making .Aftter a few minutes of talking about what they should  make they decided that they should make a box kite.But they still have to know how much time it would take to build the kite ,they got only 2 days to build the kite so they have an kite that take a total amount of 2 days to finish.So that it for today see you later bye.

So today we decided to pick our theme as box kites. The reason we picked box kites is because we the group decided that it will be creative.

Also I didn't also my group didn't know that building a box kites would be so hard and you sure need a lot of materials to build something so small can be creative.   

Another reason is because we only have two days to make the box kite and so that means that we have to go out today and get the materials for the kite unless we will be left behind.

Bonjour meaning hello.Well welcome back people to the new hot gossip about Melanie.Today what we will be talking about is Melanie and her teams design of kites.What they are doing is a box kite.Since they had picked dreams for their kite theme they decided that they are going to have a big design of dreams in their box kite.So Melanie wants the design on the kite to be stars  and a half of moon and maybe a plane because she always sees a plane in the night and she sometimes think its a shooting star from far.Also maybe another design can be of a little kid sleeping ans there is the zzz meaning snoring.Well au revoir meaning bye but in french see u next week!

Jordan's Bio

Jordan was born April,13 in Brooklyn Jordan is brilliant and handsome.

He loves spending time with his family he also  loves to succeed in everything his favorite place going is Coney island and loves  going on the roller coaster "The Cyclone". 

What Jordan also loves is to spend quality time with his best friends. His best friend Joibel Brandon and Arlene were his friends since the beginning of school.
